Traditional floating
docks pose an environmental threat through deterioration. This pollution
can affect surrounding marine life, contaminating water supply and
damaging the ecosystem surrounding the docks.
By encapsulating the
foam used in our docks and marinas we eliminate the potential pollution
of our waterways with raw exposed flecks and beads of foam. Additionally,
encapsulation eliminates the breaking down of the foam through the
abuse of marine animals such as pile worms, barnacles, sea otters
and waterfowl and therefore also eliminating these animals from
getting sick from ingesting these contaminants.
